WARREN A. (Bud) LIBENSPERGER

1940 -2026

85 yrs

Warren A. (Bud) Libensperger, 85, of Hamilton Township NJ passed peacefully surrounded by his family on January 10, 2026. Born in Trenton , he was a life long resident of Mercer County New Jersey always stayed in close proximity to his boyhood favorite place "White City Lake/John Roebling Park". He is a retired General Motors/Fisher Guide-Ewing Plant for 30 years, working as a tool equipment mechanic.

Warren was great advocate for preservation of nature in Mercer County region.

His volunteer efforts earned volunteer awards with the Abbott Marshlands and DR Greenway. He spent time curating trails, bird walks, educational programs, fishing buddy program, and opening of Tulpehaking Nature Center.

Warren was a skilled craftman who could create or fix anything. If built by Warren , it was build strong and parts operated better than the manufacturered part.

Warren was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Hamilton High West band parent, and national guard.

Son of late Warren A and Augusta(Dill) Libensperger and brother of late Robert W, Richard A Libensperger and beloved wife Linda and daughter Barbara. He is survived by sister, Jean .

He is survived by his children Sharon (Kneip), Christine (Tidd), Nancy (Meckel), and Jesse Brian.

He is loved by grandchildren and great grandchildren .

Family extends deepest graditude to Clover Meadows Nursing home staff for their compassion and care during Warren's final days.

Services will be held 11:00am Friday at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton.

Relatives and friends may call Friday 9:00am until services at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery.
