Warren Pohorely Obituary

Warren J. Pohorely of Highland Mills, NY passed away at home on June 17, 2025. He was 90 years old. Son of Augustus and Alice (Mulligan) Pohorely, he was born in Queens, NY on September 25, 1934.
Warren proudly served his country in The United States Army Reserves. He worked as an electrician for Con Edison in Brewster, NY.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved daughters: Carolyn Pohorely of Highland Mills, NY and Christine Villanacci (and husband Paul) of Monroe, NY; grandson Nicholas (and wife Kaylie) Villanacci; and great-grandchildren Lena Ava and Alexandra Jade.
There will be no Visitation.
Graveside Service with Military Honors will take place at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Cemetery of The Highlands, Route 32, Highland Mills, NY.
Cremation by Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org or Shriners Hospitals for Children www.shrinerschildrens.org.
