Warren Reynolds Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by White Family Funeral Home on Jan. 14, 2026.
Warren Reese Reynolds, age 66, of Bowie, Texas, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, January 10, 2026.

Reese was born on November 30, 1959, in Bowie, Texas, to Glynna Faye (Horton) Reynolds and Warren Ray Reynolds. A lifelong resident of Bowie, Reese was deeply rooted in his community and took great pride in being part of the family business, Bowie Butane, which he owned and operated for many years. Reese finished out his career with Northwest Propane, managing Decatur Bowie Propane office.

Reese lived life to the fullest and was known for his warm smile, easygoing nature, and love for laughter. He enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life, especially riding his motorcycle, fishing trips to Canada with friends and family-memories that were treasured by all who shared those adventures with him.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Reese excelled in athletics during his years at Bowie High School, where he was actively involved in school leadership and athletics. Reese served as class president for the BHS Class of 1978, and his love for sports continued throughout his life. He took great pride in coaching several of his children's baseball teams, and whether coaching from the dugout or cheering from the stands, Reese's passion for sports never faded.

Reese was preceded in death by his parents, Glynna Faye Reynolds and Warren Ray Reynolds, both of Bowie, Texas, and by his sister, Sherry Cornielson and his brother, Ken Dell Reynolds.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda Darlene Reynolds; his children, Jayla Minyard and husband Kyle of Sunset, Texas, and Chelsey Henry and husband Riley of Bowie, Texas; and his cherished grandchildren, Garyson Minyard, Marley Austin, Everley Henry, Jake Henry, and WestLee Henry. He is also survived by his sister, Tonya Dorman and husband Larry; his sister-in-law, Denise Reynolds, and his faithful canine companion, Jax; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Everyone who met Reese loved him. His kindness, humor, and genuine spirit left a lasting impression, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Reese's wishes were to be cremated and for his friends and family to gather to share happy and funny stories during a celebration that reflects the full and wonderful life he lived.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 17th at 2:00 p.m. at Old Country Church located at 316 W. Pecan St. Bowie, TX.
