Warren Rhodes, 83, peacefully passed away on June 15, 2024 at Twin Oaks Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Danvers. He was the son of Kent and Edith Rhodes. A graduate of Emerson College in Boston, Warren worked at Gorton's of Gloucester for 25 years. His passion for photography led to many awards including a 2nd prize in the 1994 National Photo Contest sponsored by Kodak. Three of his prize-winning photos are shown in the Patrons Museum in Danvers and his photo of Our Lady of Fatima statue was selected for the book cover of A Place in Time by Arthur K. Rose.
He is survived by his sister Cherry Rhodes Thomas and her husband, Dr. Ladd Thomas, two nephews and a niece and their spouses, and eight great-nephews and a great-niece. Warren was predeceased by his sister, Jocelyn Rhodes Carey and her husband, Dr. Robert W. Carey.
A service for Warren was held in Glendale, CA. Arrangements by the Campbell Funeral Home, 61 Middle Street, Gloucester. Information, directions, condolences at www.campbellfuneral.com.
