Warren Eddie Robinson Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, was born to the late Angelina Robinson and the late Warren E. Robinson in the great state of New York.
Warren began his early education in New York, attending Catholic school before moving to
Jacksonville, Florida with his family, where he later attended James Weldon Johnson
Warren was known by many as a gifted man with a strong love for music, poetry, and skilled cobbler, but above all, he was best known for his hustle, his generous spirit, and his unwavering love for God. He lived life with creativity, determination, and faith, always finding ways to provide, uplift others, and express himself through the art of words and wisdom.
He was preceded in death by his beloved sisters, Gwendolyn Diana Robinson and Evonne M. Robinson.
He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted and loving wife, Joyce Robinson; his daughters, Gwendolyn Diana Robinson, Lajuan Devoe (Gregory), and Grace Levy (Jay); his sons: Warren Roberts & Mario Smalls; his granddaughters: Tal'Juana, Tal'Nika, Kevionna, Camiyah, Ma'Riyah, Serenity, and Trinity; and his grandsons, Talmadge Jr., Siya, and Jeremih. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Lai'lonie and Lyriq.
Warren is also survived by a loving and extended family of siblings: Glen Robinson (Terrence), Rod Robinson (Gloria), Ron Robinson, Gregory Robinson, Brenda Henderson, Rex Ponder (Tracy), Edna Robinson, Lavonne Gates, Beverly Jackson, Beverly White, Pyke Walker, Terrance Walker, Alexis Walker, Minister Dwight Wright, Eric Rivers, Sabrina Rivers, Angela Rivers Davis, Sheena Robinson, Lawarren Robinson, Eddie Robinson, Warrenia McCartney (Jamie), Deanna Robinson, and Milton Thomas, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Special thanks are extended to Morris Manor, his nieces Seretha & Clearea, Samuel Howard and the Mims family for the love, care, and support shown to him and his beloved wife, Joyce, during his time of need.
Warren Eddie Robinson Jr. will be remembered for his faith, his artistry, his resilience, and the deep love he had for his family. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched.
Mr. Robinson, may be viewed on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Carthage Chapel from 4:00 p.m. Until 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 28, 2026, at The Sanctuary At Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 2360 Kings Road,
Jacksonville, Florida 32209, and the interment will be in Restlawn Cemetery.
