Warren Schaldach passed away Monday September 1st 2025, at the age of 68. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his sense of humor, and his lifelong love of animals.
Warren was born to Carole (Hamilton) Dahlgren and Warren Ernest Schaldach. He was raised with love and guidance by his mother and stepfather, Gerald Dahlgren. Family remained important to him throughout his life, and he carried forward their values of resilience, compassion, and care for others.
Warren dedicated his work to caring for animals in Evanston, where he was known for his gentle nature and commitment to their well-being.
Warren is survived by his daughter Kimberleigh Carole Schaldach, and his two granddaughters, Kallilynn Sacks and Kayleigh Courtney, who brought him much joy. He is also survived by his brother, Darryl Dahlgren; his niece, Brook Dahlgren; and his nephews, Jake Bradford, Justin Dahlgren, and Austin Layton. His former spouse, Karen Schaldach, also survives him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carole (Hamilton) Dahlgren; his biological father, Warren Ernest Schaldach; his stepfather, Gerald Dahlgren; and his siblings, James Bradford and Laurie Bradford.
Those who knew Warren will remember his warmth, his resilience, and his love for family. His memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and in the many lives he touched.
