Warren Michael Thumm

Warren Michael Thumm, a cherished brother, uncle, great-uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025, at the age of 64 in Easton, Pennsylvania. Born on September 3, 1960, and raised in College Point, New York, Warren was the son of the late Warren Thumm and Josephine (Healy) Thumm.
Warren was a proud graduate of Flushing High School in Queens, NY, where he was known for his quick wit and generous spirit. After completing his education, he dedicated over 25 years to serving the community through his work at the New York City Department of Sanitation. Warren's commitment to keeping the city clean and orderly was a testament to his strong work ethic and his love for his hometown.
Warren is survived by his loving brother, William Thumm, and his sister, Nancy Lee Knecht. He was a devoted uncle to his nieces and nephews, Jon David Knecht, Ann Marie Potter, Noel Brady, Karin Eanes, Erik Yark, and Traci Heerlein, as well as many cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews who will miss his playful humor and the stories he shared.
Services: A graveside service will be held at All Faiths Cemetery- 67-29 Metropolitan Avenue
