Waylon is survived by his mother, Cora Spotted Eagle; sisters, Danielle and Zeyna Spotted Eagle; brothers, Duane, William & Denny Spotted Eagle; nephews, Brett Thunder Hawk and Daniel Spotted Eagle; nieces, Jenna Thunder Hawk, D'Laney, Alexia, and Dora Spotted Eagle; aunt, Vina Yankton; grandchildren, Alicia & Liam Thunder Hawk, and Jariah Stone; and special friend, Marcus Rich.
Waylon was preceded in death by his father, Daniel W. Spotted Eagle; sister, Rhonda Lynn Thunder Hawk; maternal grandparents, Amos & Marie (Fools Crow) Lone Hill; paternal grandparents, William & Rosalyn (Eagle Heart) Spotted Eagle; maternal great grandparents, Andrew Frank Fools Crow and Fannie Cora Afraid of Hawk Fools Crow; paternal great grandparents, Noah Eagle Heart and Lema Bear Tail-Eagle Heart; uncles, Everette, Mel, & Daniel Lone Hill, and Noah & Bruce Spotted Eagle; and aunts, Mildred Lone Hill and Phinette Janis.
Pallbearers will be Donroy Janis, Brett Thunder Hawk, Daryle Cournoyer, Winona Seminole, Abby Richards, and Alena Tallman.

Wake Services: One night wake service starting at 3:00 PM, Monday, June 19, 2023 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle, SD.
Funeral Services: 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle, SD
Officiating: Deacon Harold Condon and Lay Minister Mona Vocu
Graveside Services: Spotted Eagle Family Cemetery, Kyle, SD

I will forever love and miss you Waylon, you taught me alot and helped me find myself for who I am, you was a wonderful person, my family will always love you, I will see you again!!
