Wayne A. Starnes and Judith (Rintoul) Starnes

Wayne, at 72 years of age, passed away September 8, 2003 in Port Charlotte, FL. He was born March 27, 1931 in Kansas City, MO. to James and Zella Starnes. His siblings are brothers Gene Starnes, Charles Starnes and Richard Starnes and sister Joan Starnes Knack. Wayne was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Navy.

Judy, at 89 years of age, passed away December 6, 2024, while residing in Harrisburg, IL. Judy was born on August 6, 1935 to Lee and Hazel Rintoul. Her sisters are Susan (James) Smith of Nicholasville, KY, and Diane (Dennis) Burrs of Woodstock, IL.

Wayne and Judy were united in marriage in 1955 in Dixon, IL, where they resided until moving to Port Charlotte, FL in 1989.

They are survived by their daughter, Deb (Michael) Roberts of Eldorado, IL and two grandsons and four great grandchildren: Doug (Vanessa) Roberts with Rosalie and Bodie, and Lee (Jessica) Roberts with Riley and Sadie.

In accordance with their wishes, their ashes are being buried together at Chapel Hill Cemetery.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on July 26, 2025, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home from 10:00am until Noon to remember and celebrate their lives.
