Wayne Daniel Betts Died 12/28/25 from complications with Crohn’s disease.
Wayne was born August 17th, 1973, to Cheryl Gene (Frain) Betts and Robert Wayne Betts at Fairchild AFB, Spokane, Washington.
He attended schools in various states, graduating from Branson High School, Branson, Missouri, in 1991.He also received certification from the American Broadcasting School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1999, to work in radio.
He loved to cook and worked at The Brook in Tulsa, where he received kitchen training. Wayne went on disability in 2008 after his Crohn’s disease made working impossible.
Wayne is survived by his mother, Cheryl Betts, and his father, Robert Wayne Betts, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Shannon Elizabeth Betts, and his maternal grandparents, Gene and Vicky Frain.
No services are planned at this time, however donations in his name can be made to AWOL, Independence, Kansas.
