Wayne W Boden

Wayne W. Boden of Randolph, Ohio passed away at the age of 83 on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Aultman's Compassionate Care Center in Canton, Ohio. He was born on March 13, 1939 in Akron, Ohio to Carl and Thelma (Hampton) Boden. Wayne was a US Army Veteran stationed At Fort Carson, Colorado where he met his wife of 58 1/2 years. He was deployed to Germany where he was a petroleum specialist and Military Police. He retired from Rootstown local schools as a bus mechanic. Prior to that, he was a diesel mechanic "Diesel Doctor" for Commercial Motor Freight. He is survived by his wife Sylvia (Giarratano), his children Angela (Bo) Stevenson, Renee Campradt, and Wayne, Jr. (Hope) Boden. He was a proud Papa of 6 grandchildren Tiffany (Tim) Markham, Christopher Stevenson, Trevor and Taylor Campradt and Tyler and Kayla Sharrard. He had many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Mildred (Charles) Ansell, brother Leonard (Marjorie) Boden, niece Margie Boden and great-nephew Michael Knox. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, 8/6/2022 At Hillside Cemetery in Randolph, Ohio. Family and friends are invited to a luncheon from 12-2pm at St. Peter of the fields Catholic church in Rootstown, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Randolph Fire Department, Aultman's Compassionate care center and the American Heart Association.
