Wayne Carlen

Wayne Carlen, 73, of Aston, PA, passed away on January 5, 2025, at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born in Wilmington, DE, to William and Mabel Quinn Carlen, Wayne spent the past 33 years in Aston, PA, after previously residing in Media, PA.
Wayne proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during both the Vietnam and Iraq Wars. He was also a dedicated corrections officer and an active member of the Bethel, Concordville, and Lenni Fire Companies. Above all, Wayne cherished spending time with his family and friends, especially his beloved grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, MaryJane (Dorsey) Carlen, who passed away in 2021, as well as his daughters April Duncan and Krystal Carlen, and his siblings William, Leroy, Ronnie, Mitzy (Mabel), and Elaine.
He is survived by his daughter Joyce Anderson, sisters; Marie Swanson, and Joanne Jones, his former son-in-law Jimmy "Moose" Duncan, five grandsons; Daryl, Shawn, Jalen, Wayne J., and Robert, and his one and only granddaughter whom he loved dearly Turquoise, and great-grandchildren; Kylah and Leila.
A visitation will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA. Interment will be private.
