Charles Wayne Deffinbaugh, age 75, of Palmyra, TN passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.

Wayne entered this life on July 30, 1948, in Covington, Virginia to the late Charles Carpenter and Betty Jean Deffinbaugh. He was a skilled mechanic who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. At one point he even killed a bear. Those that knew Wayne couldn’t help but love him. He will be deeply missed, especially by his sisters.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Deffinbaugh, and his maternal grandparents, Pauline Beard Seldomridge Deffinbaugh, and Walter Lee Deffinbaugh.
Survivors include his son, Paul Deffinbaugh; sisters, Brenda S. Getty, and Mickie Davis, children by marriage, Johnny Ray Roberts, Teddy Roberts, Tommy Roberts, Mistie Dawn Torres, and Gail Lynn Turner, and his nieces and nephews, Billy Getty, Ricky Davis, and Jason Davis. Wayne also leaves behind his dog, Nacho, as he was extremely special to him.
