Wayne Doan

Wayne Doan, age 46, of Keavy, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
He leaves behind his wife; Glenda Harris; four children, Rushae Taylor of London, KY, Gracie Harris & Justin Smith of Keavy, KY, Casey Anders of Corbin, KY, Zander Sloan of Corbin, KY; two siblings, Kevin Lee Doan of Corbin, KY, Stephanie Burkhart & husband James of East Bernstadt, KY; five grandchildren, Zoey Taylor, Nevaeh Fuson, Mylah Fuson, Zachary Smith, Brentley Harris; his uncles, Delbert & family and Joe Smith; his best friend, Kathy Baird; plus a host of other family and friends to cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Edith Kay Engle Doan; his mamaw, Lillie Mae Smith; and by his uncles, Clayton Engle, Jack Engle, Amos Engle.
Wayne was a man who truly loved life-whether he was casting a line into the water, taking a swim on a hot day, or running the roads just to see where they'd take him.
Wayne had a gift for connecting with people. He never met a stranger, and his easy smile and kind heart made him a friend to many. He had a deep love for motorcycles, the open road, and the simple joy of good company.
But more than anything, Wayne cherished his Mammie-she was his world, and her love was his anchor through all of life's journeys. Those who knew Wayne will remember the way he lit up a room, the way he made every moment count, and the way he lived-fully, freely, and with joy.
A memorial service honoring Wayne Doan will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Wayward Ministries, 587 KY 1376, East Bernstadt, KY 40729, with Harold Harris officiating. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
