Wayne Roy Dunavant

Wayne Roy Dunavant, age 67, of Fisk, MO, died Thursday, July 31, 2025 at his residence in Fisk. Mr. Dunavant was born July 19, 1958 in St. Louis, MO, son of the late Roy W. and Doris Dunavant (Robbs). Wayne was a devoted family man who adored his grandchildren. He was known by most for being an animal lover and a true metal head. He enjoyed cracking jokes and making people laugh. He also found great joy in doing hands-on work such as construction and painting. He is survived by four children: Dan Dunavant of Hillsboro, MO, David (Chrissee) Dunavant of Hillsboro, MO, Christina (Caleb) Zimmerman of Fenton, MO, and Dale (Katie) Dunavant of Poplar Bluff, the mother of children: Ruth Dunavant; and eight grandchildren: Elizabeth, Hailey, Adelaide, Hayden, Solomon, Macklin, Connor, and Kinsley.
