George Donald Brittingham

George Donald Brittingham, age 94, of Broseley, MO, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at his residence. Mr. Brittingham was born November 4, 1931 in Fisk, MO, son of the late George and Lois Brittingham (Sickles). He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

George was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, working outside, and raising sweet potatoes. He also enjoyed watching Nascar races.

On October 5, 2002, he married Virginia Brittingham (Davis). She survives. Also surviving is one son: Lynn Brittingham of O'Fallon, MO; three grandchildren: Brandon Brittingham of Fisk, MO, Andrew Brittingham and Christopher Michael Brittingham both of Moscoe Mills, MO; and three great-grandchildren: Christopher Michael Brittingham II, Jayla Brittingham, and Chase Brittingham.

In addition to his parents, George was also preceded in death by one daughter: Brenda Brittingham Reid; five brothers: Jerry, Jim, Ike, Bill, and Bo; and two sisters: Lucille and Sally.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at White-Sanders Funeral Home, Fisk. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk with Rev. Gary Hancock officiating. Burial will be at Ash Hill Cemetery in Fisk.
