Wayne "Shug" Gosa, age 67, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the residence. There will be a memorial service for Mr. Gosa on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00pm until 2:00pm, just prior to the service. Bro. Jason Voyles to officiate the services.
Thomas Wayne "Shug" Gosa was born on June 8, 1957, in Sulligent, AL to the late George Gosa and Betty Carter Gosa. He attended Sulligent Schools and served in the United States Army. He had worked in the concrete business for several years. Wayne enjoyed fishing and was an avid Alabama Football fan. He attended the Sulligent First Assembly of God Church. Wayne's passion in life and what he was best known for was his love for horseback riding and training horses. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
