Wayne Hart, 63, of Kingston, NY, passed away on February 12, 2025. He was born on December 27, 1961, in Kingston, NY, son of Marlene (Halwick) Hass and the late Francis “Butch” Hart.
Wayne was known to have an incredible work ethic. Under Wayne’s tough exterior was a hardworking, hard loving person who adored his family. He was always there to lend a helping hand to help someone with whatever they needed, moving, mowing lawns, etc. He was also a diehard fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Los Angels Dodgers. He loved classic cars and country music. Wayne was a member of the Woodstock Reformed Church where he was instrumental in creating a memorial garden. He enjoyed gardening on his own time as well. He has an extensive collection of New England Village Houses, of which he was proud to display. He worked in Kingston at Wiltwyck Country Club, Begnal/Tasca Motors, and for Dan and Cheryl Potter.
Wayne is survived by his mother, Marlene Hass of Saugerties, his step father, George Hass of Saugerties, his siblings, Lori Henry (Dana) of Kingston, Michelle (Gary) Mecabe of Myrtle Beach, SC, Melinda (Perry) Fabiano of Kingston, Jim (Amy) Hart of Saugerties, Joe (Angela) Hart of Chicago, IL, Barbara (Sue) Hass, Glenford, NY, and Anne Hass of Bloomington, NY, his good friend, Barbara Schildhorn of Kingston, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his father, Wayne is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Vernon and Evelyn Halwick, his God Parents, Henry and Florence Wager, his paternal grandparents, John and Anna Stephens, as well as many other family and friends.
Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Thursday February 20, 2025, from 1pm to 4pm with the funeral service taking place at 4pm. Inurnment will take place at Wiltwyck Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Wayne's memory may be made to the Woodstock Reformed Church, 16 Tinker Street, Woodstock, NY 12498 or Hudson Valley Hospice at www.HVHospice.org A tribute for Wayne can be found at www.KeyserFuneralService.com, where you may leave memories and expressions of sympathy for his family.
