Graveside services for Wayne Henriksen of Springfield, MN will be Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Theresia's Cemetery in Donnelly, MN.
Wayne Donald Henriksen was born May 21, 1957 in Morris, Minnesota. He was the son of Donald and Verna (Schuster) Henriksen. He grew up in Morris, Minnesota and lived most of his adult life in Springfield, Minnesota. He joined the National Guard in 1978, and when he was done serving our country, he became a Mechanic. He loved hunting, fishing, tinkering, working on vehicles, and gardening.
Wayne died on Friday, September 12, 2025 at the Sleepy Eye Medical Center in Sleepy Eye, MN. He was 68 years old.
He is survived by his two children: Landon (Dana) Henriksen and Cody (Alicia) Henriksen; four siblings: Cathey (Todd) Anderson, Joan Kellerman, Neil (Lori) Henriksen, and Jeff (Mary) Henriksen; and his four beautiful grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Donald Henriksen and Verna (Charlie) Teberg; three siblings: Cliff Henriksen, Dennis Henriksen, and Diane Raasch.
