Wayne was a good guy and someone I enjoyed working with at Republic Steel- Steel & Tubes Division. Great handball player too! Rest in peace my friend.

I was first introduced to Wayne at the Powell YMCA. Always enjoyed talking with him about his workouts, his work, and family. He was always kind and friendly. Peace and comfort to his family.

Wayne had a kind soul & easy going nature that drew you to him! I recall fondly the times at the Y working out together mixed between deep conversations. I will be praying for his family as I can imagine the hole left will be big & yet the hope of meeting in the hereafter has to be a great comfort! My heart is glad that he is in Heaven & rejoicing & deeply saddened by the thought of this world without his joy & light.

Wayne had many, many friends at the YMCA. He was always smiling and encouraging, genuinely interested in how you were doing. Always enjoyed talking to him, especially about fly fishing and his cabin vacations in the Rockies. That being said, he was quite a competitor as well, and I could never beat him, especially when it came to running, even though I was 10 years his junior! He will be missed by his Y family.

What a blessing it was to know Wayne. He was so kind, genuine, caring and encouraging. He made a lasting impression on my life and no doubt many others. Love and my deepest sympathies to all of his family.

My family expresses their deepest condolences. Wayne was so personable and a true gentleman. The world desperately needs more people like Wayne. He will be missed but know he´s smiling down from heaven.
