Mr. Wayne Crawford Jacober

Wayne Crawford Jacober, age 73, of Marriottsville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, September 8, 2024. Born November 23, 1950 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Herbert Crawford and Mary Catherine (Stoltz) Jacober. He was the husband of 43 years to Elizabeth Alice Jacober.
Wayne was a man that led his life the only way he knew how, with his heart. Wayne built the house in which he and Liz raised their family. Wayne was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and hiking in the park. Following a long career as a Master Electrician, Wayne spent his time doing projects with his hands through woodworking and building furniture. He was a long time member of the Baltimore Antique Bottle Club. Wayne treasured his family's annual trip to Cape Hatteras, NC. Wayne spent his weekends being a devoted PopPop.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are daughters, Rebecca Lewis and husband Ian, Rachel Atwell and husband Michael, and Amanda Jacober; siblings, Diane Markert and husband Wayne; Linda Powell; and Michael Jacober and wife Carol; and grandchildren, Jacob and Hannah Atwell.
The family will receive friends and family on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville, MD. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 12 PM at St. Alphonsus Rodriguez Catholic Church, 10800 Old Court Road, Woodstock. Interment to follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery, Woodstock.
