Wayne Jeffreys

C. Wayne Jeffreys age 67 of Irving, Texas went to his Heavenly Home on Saturday, May 8, 2021. He was born on March 14, 1954 in Durant, OK to Connie and Lovina Jeffreys. They both preceded him in death along with one brother Lonnie Jeffreys. Wayne graduated from Irving High School before entering the United States Army where he served in the Vietnam Era and in Germany. He was a Computer Printer by trade and was a Mason and also was active in the American Legion, VA in Dallas, VFW, American Red Cross. Wayne was a member and served as a deacon at First General Baptist Church in Irving Texas. He enjoyed fishing, farming, camping and taking young family members to the Rodeo. He is survived by his daughter Cindy Surnear; sister Bonnie Butler; 4 great nephews; 2 great nieces; 3 great-great nephews; and numerous other family members and friends. Wayne will be laid to rest on Tuesday, May 25th at 2:30 p.m. at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
