Wayne C. Jordan

Wayne C. Jordan, 64, of Dawsonville passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026.

Born August 29, 1961 in St. Meinard, Indiana, he had lived in Dawson County for the past 26 years having moved from Cumming. He was formerly employed by Dawson County, before which he worked in the grading and hauling industry. Wayne was a U. S. Army veteran, was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed building small engines and go-kart racing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Renna Jordan, and a sister, Jennifer Hunt.

Surviving are his sons and daughters in law, Joseph Jordan, Ron and Karen Morris, Bradley and Jordan Morris, all of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Layla, Nathan, Noah, Oliver; mother, Ann Hunt, Gainesville; father, Joseph Jordan, Ocala, FL; sister, Jackie Hunt, Gainesville; brother, Mark Hunt, Dawsonville; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 23, 2026 at 2 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tommy Ross will officiate. Interment will follow in Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 23 from 12 noon until the service hour.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
