Ronald L. "Ron" Brooks, 75 of Dawsonville passed away Monday, February 9, 2026.

Born May 31, 1950 in Pittsburg, Indiana to the late Whitt and Rebecca Brooks, he had lived in Dawson County for the past 15 years. Ron was a U. S. Army veteran and he also served in the National Guard. He worked at Monan Trailers until his retirement and was an avid gun collector.

Surviving are his sisters and brothers in law, Jane Rogers, Dawsonville, Beverly and Dave Brown, Bringhurst, IN, Ann Anderson, Noblesville, IN, Cindy Brooks, Minneapolis, MN, Nancy and Bill Fields, Kokomo, IN, Sally Clark, Lafayette, IN; brothers and sisters in law, Jack and Cheryl Brooks, Bringhurst, IN, Tony and Peggy Brooks, Delphi, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 2:30 p.m. at Georgia National Cemetery. Rev. Chad Rogers will officiate.
