Wayne M. Karcher

Wayne Merrill Karcher, 58, passed away on October 26, 2024, in Lampasas, Texas. He was born on March 6, 1966, in San Antonio, Texas to William Edward Karcher and Matsuko Shinoda Parmley.

A visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 2 pm to 4 pm.

Wayne grew up in Lampasas, Texas.  He attended Lampasas High School and received his GED at CTC.  

During high school, he worked for Storm's Drive-in and continued to enjoy a Storm's Special years after moving on.  After high school, he worked at several construction companies throughout his life.  He was a volunteer for the Lampasas Fire Department for several years during the 90's.

He loved his family and friends and was known for his infectious smile and kind demeanor.

Wayne was preceded in death by his father, William Edward Karcher.

Survivors include his son, Skyler (Ruby) Karcher of Lampasas; his mother, Matsuko Karcher-Parmley; his brothers, Matt (Brandy) Karcher, Westley (Melissa) Karcher, and Warren (Mary) Karcher; his grandchildren, Akilie and Slayden and many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made directly to Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel to assist in the payment of his funeral services.
