Wayne J. Lawlor, 64, of Manchester, previously of Medford, MA, passed away on May 29, 2024 surrounded by his family. He is the loving husband of Judy (Kreatz) Lawlor with whom he has shared 40 years of marriage.
Wayne was born on March 1, 1960 in Stoneham, MA the son of James and Barbara (Kirkpatrick) Lawlor. He attended Medford High School and after graduation, he proudly joined the US Marine Corps.
Wayne was a man of simple pleasures, he loved the outdoors and especially the beach. He enjoyed saltwater fishing, family vacations to Old Orchard Beach, and tending to his plants. He retired, after over 30 years of service, as a Medford Firefighter and was a member of the Salem VFW Post 8546 and the Henry J. Sweeney American Legion Post 2.
Along with his wife Judy, Wayne is survived by his sons, Steven Lawlor and his fiancé Melissa Cote of Manchester, their daughters Brooke and Rylee Cote, and Craig Lawlor of Quincy, MA; his twin sister Wendy McNally and her husband Jimmy, sister Diana Vinci and her husband Billy, and sister Tracy Wallace and her husband Billy; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased in 2015 by his loving daughter Erin Lawlor.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6th from 11:00-12:00pm at The Phaneuf Funeral Home & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. A funeral service will follow at 12:00pm in the funeral home. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment will be private.
