A ceremony celebrating the life of Wayne “Eddie” Lewis Jr, will be held on Thursday at First Pentecostal Church Denham Springs, visitation will begin at 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm.
Graveside service will follow at Twin Pines Cemetery, Holden.
Eddie was born in Hayti, Missouri on October 23, 1965, and rested from this life on Sunday October 26, 2025, at the age of 60 years; surrounded by his family, at his home, after an extended illness.
He was a resident of Walker and a faithful member of First Pentecostal Church Denham Springs. He had a passion for the outdoors, hunting and especially fishing. He adored his family and enjoyed spending time with them and working alongside his parents.
Eddie will be remembered for having a compassionate heart, always helping others in any manner he could; and keeping everyone in his prayers.
He is preceded in death by his parents Wayne Edward and Brenda Boatwright Lewis.
Survivors include his devoted wife Kristina F. Lewis, children Mallory Craig (Scott), Benjamin “Corey” Lewis, Preston Lewis (Amanda), Huntley Lewis, Branden Juneau (Adriana), Londa Williams, Heather Smith, Heather Bevins, Destiny Smith, and John Boyd; siblings Steve Lewis (Veronica), and Jennifer Walker (Ryan), also survived by a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
