Wayne Lee Liverman

Wayne Lee Liverman, 64 passed away on September 20, 2024 at Riverside Hospital. He was born in Elizabeth City to the late Alfred M. and Phyllis L. Liverman on April 23, 1960. He was reared in Elizabeth City, NC, and relocated to Newport News, VA in 1975. He attended Newport News Intermediate School, and later graduated Ferguson High School. He worked Newport News Shipyard and various other odd jobs in the area.
Turk, as he was affectionately called by his family, loved his family, the Lord, and dressed sharp every day with a hat and shoes to match. There was a time he would not be caught wearing sneakers.
Deacon Fry, as he was known to his SRO family and friends, was always there to lend a hand. He helped out in any compassionate way when asked and needed. He was a die-hard Las Vegas Raiders fan.
He leaves behind his siblings, Ann Cherry of Yorktown, VA, Alfred M. Liverman,Jr. of Elizabeth City NC, Anna Liverman of Newport News, VA, Earlene Haynes (Samuel), of Newport News, VA, andAvis Riddick of Georgia.
Left to cherish his memory are his nieces and nephews to include Jemina (Mimi), her children, Jerron (Ruby), their daughter ChiChi and their baby boy, Shakarah and Karo, Yanna and Chase, Phennon, Mia, Saysay, Cornelius (Cece), his daughters, NeNe and her son, Mook and Coco, Cedric (Dooley), Kendric, and Samantha. Also, Nakeja (Tiny), Booboo, Jenoba (Buddy), his daughters, Naynay & Jania, Karolyn, Tene (Bert) and Trey, Kedra and her sons, Xavier and Devyn, ReRe (Dominique) and Dominique, Jr., Deuce (Charmagne), their daughters, Liliana, Aleiya, Aniyah, Savanna Saleeia and Cahriia.
