Wayne Joseph McKinney

Wayne Joseph McKinney, age 68, of Sharon Hill, PA, passed away on July 15, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Donald and Gloria McKinney (nee Bloh).

Wayne was a self-employed construction worker who crafted homes and dreams for those around him. He was driven by his passion for creating masterpieces and he dedicated his life to the art of construction. Wayne’s commitment to his skill touched the lives of those around him and his colleagues admired his precision to his craft.

Wayne found profound solace in life when he was in nature. He always enjoyed fishing and hunting whenever he had time. However, his profound love for his family was most important to him. 

Wayne was the beloved husband of Jean McKinney (nee Preston); loving father of Christine Root and Donald McKinney; adoring grandfather of Claire Root and Gabriella McKinney; caring brother of Donna Koterba and Elaine Lucci.

Relatives and friends are invited to Wayne’s Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM on Friday, July 26th at The Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home, 746 Kedron Ave, Morton, PA 19070, followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Private.
