Wayne F. Mosey, age 85, of Prior Lake, MN, entered eternal life peacefully on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Savage Senior Living at Fen Pointe in Savage, MN.
On February 17, 1940, in Webster, SD, Charles and Valeria Mosey celebrated the birth of their son, Wayne Mosey. He met, and on August 29, 1959, married his high school sweetheart, Nathaleen "Nathie" Winge. They were blessed with four children.
Wayne started out in sales with Peavey Flour Company, then moved up to VP in sales. He then went on to become VP and owner of a manufacturing and distributor of bakery goods.
Wayne and Nathie loved living on Prior Lake, where the family would gather to enjoy year round lake activities. One of Wayne's favorite hobbies was fishing the lake, regardless of the season. He also loved to hunt. He hunted various wildlife throughout the country.
On holidays, Wayne was known for making Kibbeh for his family and friends. Wayne loved digging in the dirt and caring for hundreds of his hostas.
Wayne volunteered at St John the Baptist Catholic Church and School in Savage and took care of the gardens. Wayne also spent many years volunteering at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville.
He loved watching all of his grandchildren's sporting events, and especially traveling on hockey trips to several countries.
Wayne was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nathie; parents, Charles and Valeria; and siblings, Charles Mosey and Patricia Peterson. He is survived by his sons and daughters, Scott (Schelly), Steve (Pat), Stacy (Troy) Bjork, and Shari (Ed) Rucinski; grandchildren, Tiffany (Ryan) Bartlett, Todd Schultz and Tony Mosey, Britney and Charlie Mosey, Luke Bjork, Miranda (Erick) Castillo, Mitchell (Carly), Max (Lilly) and Pia Rucinski; great-grandchildren, Bryn and Braxon Bartlett, Aspen and Enzo Castillo, Hudson and Sawyer Rucinski; siblings, Beverly Dornbusch, Greg (Karen) Mosey, DeAnne Mason, and Nancy Norris.
Visitation Friday, November 21, 2025, from 9:30-10:30 AM, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM, all at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4625 West 125th, Savage, MN. A private family interment will be held at St. John the Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Wayne would have preferred memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

As high school classmates, we have MANY fun memories of Wayne (Rock) Mosey!!
Then we lived across from Wayne and Nathie in the tailer park in Moorhead while attending Moorhead State College. When Scott was born, we had fun taking him for a ride in our car and give Mom and Dad a little quiet time.
