Wayne Raber Obituary
Born in Millersburg on June 2, 1987, he was the son of Stevie and Amanda (Hershberger) Raber. He married the former Mary Ellen Yoder on August 18, 2018. He worked as a laborer for Kline Home Exteriors of Dundee in the summer, and Shue Kauffman Building and Roofing in Sarasota, Florida during the winter months.
Wayne attended Grace Church in Berlin and Abundant Life Church in Sarasota and deeply loved Jesus. His favorite things to do were to go to church to worship his Savior, and go fishing with his son Josiah.
In addition to his wife Mary Ellen and parents Stevie and Amanda Raber of Baltic, he is survived by his in-law's Mose (Ruby) Yoder of Winesburg; grandfather Atlee Raber of Millersburg; siblings Atlee (Ruby) Raber of Baltic, Ruth (Junior) Stutzman of Fresno, Jacob (Karly) Raber of Thailand, David (Marlene) Raber of Millersburg, Mabel (Arlen) Nisley of Fresno, and Mary (Edward) Hershberger of Millersburg.
He is preceded in death by his mother-in-law Rosanna Yoder and grandmother Ella Raber.
Services for Wayne, and his son Josiah, will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Church in Berlin with Pastor Larry Kaufman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Grace Church on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 and Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm each day, and one prior to the service on Thursday.
