Anna Klaiber Obituary
She was born in Mt. Blanchard, Ohio on May 2, 1928 to the late Carroll and Helen (Nesbaum) McVitty and on June 21, 1952 she married Rev. Arnold H. "Arnie" Klaiber. He passed away on June 10, 2015.
Anna Belle was an elementary school teacher for several years and then continued as a substitute teacher. Her biggest vocation was supporting her husband in his ministry. She was a faithful member of Sugarcreek First United Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children, Mark (Esther) Klaiber of Sugarcreek, Philip (Ellen) Klaiber of Chagrin Falls, Nancy (Keith) Troyer and John (Tammy) Klaiber both of Sugarcreek; grandchildren, Clint (Lisa) Troyer, Emily (LW) Beckley, Craig (Kaitlin) Miller, Kyle (Michelle) Klaiber, Luke Klaiber, Sam (Brittani) Troyer, Kayla (Kevin) North, Matthew Klaiber, Kelsey Klaiber, and Makenna (Matt) Imburgia; and 13 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother James McVitty.
Memorial Services will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026 at 11 AM at the Sugarcreek First United Church of Christ with Pastor Earl Rogers officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Friends may call on Monday from 10-11 AM at the Church prior to services.
Memorials in Anna Belle's memory may be made to the First United Church of Christ 526 W. Main Street, Sugarcreek, Ohio 44681.
