A Celebration of Life service for Virgil "Wayne" Schoeling age 73 of Enid will be 10:00 am Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Jim Edmison and Kevin Winters officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Wayne was born July 30, 1952 in Enid to Virgil and Phyllis (Timm) Schoeling and passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025 in Oklahoma City. Wayne was raised in the Enid Community where he attended Kremlin/Hillsdale High School and graduating in 1970. Wayne married Rebecca "Becky" Tefft at the Bethany United Methodist Church and she passed away on August 10, 2018. Wayne enlisted in the Oklahoma National Guard. He worked for Cummins Construction and Champlin Refinery. In 1984, he started Kremlin Welding and Fabrication until 2013. Wayne continued his love of farming and ranching in the Hunter and Pond Creek community until he passed away. Wayne married Dena on July 17, 2020 in Enid.
Wayne is survived by his wife Dena. Three sons: Ryan and Kristen Schoeling, Jeff Schoeling, and Dusty and Amy Schoeling, grandchildren, Jacob, Haley, and Gracie Schoeling, mother Phyllis Blaser, sister Timi Schoeling and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his father and sister Cindy Riggs.
Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation- Diabetes Division with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory serving as custodians of the funds.
