Heartfelt gratitude for special love and generous care showered on Wayne for almost three years at the Minnesota Veterans Home by Minnehaha Falls in Minneapolis. The community on this gorgeous campus includes all staff from medical and nursing to HST caregivers (7o'clock), from every team including therapies, chaplaincy, social work, recreation, groundskeepers, food, maintenance, housekeeping, and all the volunteers who create a home and make a positive difference in the lives of our veterans, serving those who serve. Wayne was well-loved and safe in his room with a beautiful view; exceptional, responsive, and respectful medical care from the VA Hospitals and Clinics in Minneapolis and Seattle for many years; Grace Hospice whose angels flew in with open arms to smooth our unexpected 20 Day Journey from an ER visit to his peaceful and calm passing; and to St John Neumann Catholic Church in Eagan MN for decades of spiritual consistency; and everybody who helped everybody care for Wayne.
