Wayne Stanford Shively, 91, of Mifflinburg entered into rest on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Asbury Riverwoods. 

Born on February 24, 1933 in,Millmont a son of the late Fred and Beulah (Catherman) Shively. On August 7, 1955, in Mifflinburg he married the former Nancy Ann Smith, who passed away on January 25, 2019. 

Wayne was a caring and loving husband, father, uncle and grandfather. 

Surviving are two sons and one daughter; Timothy and LouAnn Shively of Mifflinburg, Jennifer and Mark Laubach of Towanda, Andy and Autumn Shively of Mifflinburg, seven grandchildren Alex, Jake, Molly, Adam, Allison, Meg, and Corban, and four great grandchildren, Norah, Vera, Jaxon, Anna, a brother, Deane Shively of Turbotville. 

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Dolly Bollinger. 

Family and friends may visit with the family from 10 - 11 AM on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 404 Market Street, Mifflinburg, where a memorial service to celebrate Wayne's life will be held at 11 AM with Pastor Curt Wingert and his brother, Rev. Deane Shively, officiating.

Interment will be private for the family in Mifflinburg Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Wayne's memory may be sent to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, Grand Central Station, P.O.Box 4777 New York, NY 10163.
