Wayne James Shuma, 80, died peacefully at his home in South Huntingdon Township with his family at his side on Friday, November 14, 2025. Born in Charleroi on September 9, 1945, he was the son of the late John and Julia (Motchkoski) Shuma.
Wayne was a self entrepreneur since he was 16 yrs old starting with his brother Bill. In the 80's he and his friend operated arcades on the Maryland and Jersey shore. He operated Breaktime Coffee Vending along with his family. He was hard working and enjoyed reading. He liked to travel, especially to Atlantic City and Las Vegas. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. His family will miss his "Shuma wit".
He is survived by loving wife of 60 years, Victoria (Maione) Shuma; daughter, Marla (Scott) Daniels; grandchildren, James (Terra) Shuma, Logan (Kyra) Martin and Leah Daniels; great-grandchildren, Izabella Martin, Hunter Martin and Roman Martin; sister, Nancy (Dave) Sherman; niece, Ellie Sherman; nephews, Ben Sherman and James Shuma; as well as numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Wayne J. Shuma Jr.; brother, William Shuma; and nephew Billy Shuma.
