Mr. Wayne Stewart, age 82, passed away Friday, May 23, 2025 at Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Black officiating. A visitation will be held at 10:00 am prior to the service. Burial will be in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Wayne was a native of Crisp County and a member of the Baptist faith. He was retired civil service electronics at Robins Air force Base and worked for contractors on the base after retirement. John was a member of the American Legion and VFW. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends. He loved picking the guitar and played in several country music bands.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, James Ralph and Margaret Lyndon Black Stewart; daughter, Cynthia Stewart; two brothers and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Stewart; son, Wesley Stewart (Lisa); daughter Lana Holder (Donald); brother, Jackie Stewart (Elaine); sisters, Virginia Laster, Marilyn McDowell, Dovie Norton, Rhonda Riner, Marvelle Jenkins and Susan Brown; grandchildren, Marissa Holder (Eli), Anna White (David), and Evan Stewart (Emma); great-grandchildren, Cooper and Colton White.
Flowers accepted or donations to the Pulaski County Fire Department.
