It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wayne W. Tervo, a beloved brother, husband, father, and grandfather who left us on March 8, 2025, at the age of 71. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Born on January 2, 1954, Wayne was a man of unwavering dedication to his family and his passions. Born the youngest of 5 siblings, 3 brothers William (Dolores) Bunney, Richard (Sandy) Bunney, and Robert (Marcia) Bunney. He also had two sisters Nancy and Grace.
Wayne was a devoted husband to Susan Ann Tervo for 51 years, their love was a true testament to commitment and companionship. He cherished his role as a father to Sara (Randy) Bodosi, Jeffrey Tervo, and William (Nicole) Tervo. Wayne leaves behind much wisdom, guidance, and love. His legacy as a grandfather was something Wayne cherished, his grandchildren, Ryker Raymond Bodosi, and Harvey Wayne Tervo, were his pride and joy. His values, lessons, and influence will live on in them forever.
An avid sports fan, Wayne could always be found supporting, cheering, or coaching a sports team! As an athlete himself, he gifted his passion for sports down to his children. A huge Michigan Wolverines fan, grandpa was always trying to teach his grand kids to say "Go Blue!" Whether in the stands or at home, his enthusiasm for the game was infectious, and his knowledge of the sport was unmatched.
Wayne was also a successful business owner, known for his hard work, integrity, and entrepreneurial spirit. His clients alike admired his dedication to excellence and his genuine care for others.
A lifelong dog lover, Wayne had a special bond with every canine companion he had over the years. His dogs were more than pets-they were family, and he cared for them with the same devotion he showed to all those he loved. Though his absence will be felt deeply by his family, friends, and community, we take comfort in knowing that his legacy will endure.
Wayne's family and friends will gather from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 13, 2025, and from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Eineder Funeral Homes – Manchester Chapel. His funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Eineder Funeral Homes – Manchester Chapel. Pastor Ron Clark will serve as celebrant. Burial of ashes will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery at a later date.
Wayne leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and integrity, and he will forever be remembered as a man who gave all he had to those he loved. Rest in peace.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family for future designation. Please leave a message of comfort for Wayne's family or sign his guestbook at www.EinederFuneralHomes.com.
