Weldon Leon Roberts

Weldon Leon Roberts, Age 71, of Graham, TX passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.

 He is preceded in death by his mother, Ima Jean Roberts.

Weldon is survived by his father, Charles Roberts, his wife Carmen Roberts, his two daughters Heather Roberts and Ashley Poland, his son Cody McCurley and daughter in laws Sally Bardwell, Cali McCurley and son in law Josh Poland, his two sisters Rebecca Talley and Carla Yingling and her husband John Yingling. Weldon had 10 grandchildren Dakota, Jackson, Harrison, Clayton, Avery, Allyson, Hunter, Chloe, Kamron and JR. Two nephews Christopher and Kevin and niece Christina and many great nieces and nephews.

 Weldon was raised in Abilene, TX and attended Abilene High School. His love for music led him to Austin, TX where he surrounded himself with musicians and embraced the Austin music scene. He proceeded a career in beverage distribution and became a wine and liquor connoisseur and later ended up in product merchandising. His love for stories and human connection was always a highlight but his love for music is what he loved most.

Please join the family in celebrating Weldon’s life at his memorial service that will be held at the Morrison Funeral Home in Graham, TX on Thursday, May 25, 2023. The viewing will be from 1pm - 2pm with services following. This will be the time to celebrate Weldons life and his love of music.
