Welton “Pat” Patterson, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025. Pat was a former employee of Brown and Williamson and a graduate of the University of Louisville. He was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church and served in U.S. Army. He enjoyed his grandchildren, fishing and hunting, and was an avid slot and bingo player.
Survivors include his sons, Mark Patterson (Melisa), David Patterson (Cathy) and Chris Patterson (Erin); seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother, Larry Patterson, one sister, Joann Moncrief, and long-time companion Brenda Sizemore. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years, Elizabeth “Betty” Walsh Patterson, and his parents Enos and Reba Patterson.
His funeral celebration of life will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 10 at Incarnation Catholic Church, 2229 Lower Hunter Trace, with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Monday, June 9 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 10304 Dixie Highway.
