Wendy Lynette Anderson, age 64, of Motley, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Lakewood Health Care System in Staples. She was born on December 14, 1960, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Evelyn (Wilcox) and Paul Williams.
Wendy will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Rob; children, Casey (Randy Losh), Toni Kowalczyk, Benjamin Anderson, and Eli Anderson; grandchildren, Brayden Losh, Devon Losh, Nicholas Goranson, Matthew Goranson, Amelia Anderson, Oliver Anderson, and Arabella Anderson; as well as her siblings, George (Donna) Williams, Barbie (Walter) Plummer, Pam Schmidt, and Jean (John) Tabatt. She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and Paul Williams; sisters, Sherry Ulferts and Penny Craig; and brother, Jeff Williams.
Wendy had a deep love for the outdoors, especially fishing for walleye, horseback riding, and photography. She also enjoyed baking and spending time in nature. For many years, Wendy worked as a cook at the Pie Pantry and many other local restaurants, where she touched many lives with her culinary talents. She cherished her role as a mother and grandmother, finding joy in her family above all.
A celebration of Wendy's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 31, 2025, at the Motley Free Methodist Church, with Pastor Jim Johnson officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Motley Public Cemetery at a later date.
Wendy's kindness, warmth, and love for her family and community will never be forgotten. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
