Wendy Sue (Lusher) Dangar, 62
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Wendy Dangar, on March 2nd, 2025, at the age of 62 in Dunedin, Florida.
Wendy was born to Sidney and Ellen Lusher and raised in Central Square, New York. She later moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, to attend Eckerd College, where she earned her bachelor's degree and played on the women's softball team. Shortly after graduating, Wendy joined Baxter Healthcare. While working there, she pursued and earned a master's in management from the Florida Institute of Technology. Throughout her career, Wendy focused primarily on project management, dedicating a significant portion of her professional life to Paragon Water Systems.
Wendy is survived by her daughter, Alie, parents, Sidney and Ellen Lusher, brothers, Scott (Kelly) and Tim Lusher, nieces and nephews, Lauren Lusher, Taylor (Brian) Chevier, Andrew Lusher, Samantha Lusher, Christiana Lusher, Sydney Lusher, and Ryan Lusher.
Wendy was a loving mother, a dedicated worker, a standout athlete, and a caring friend. She will be fondly remembered for her deep love of animals-she found great joy in caring for her pets and was passionate about the wellbeing of all creatures. Wendy cherished time spent by the water, had a keen interest in true crime, loved playing board games with family, and was always on the hunt for the best pizza in town. A natural athlete from a young age, Wendy's competitive spirit shone brightly on the softball field and continued throughout her life. She brought that same energy and enthusiasm to coaching and cheering on her daughter in every athletic endeavor. Wendy took great pride in her work and, above all, cared deeply for her family. The world is a better place for having Wendy in it and her legacy will live on in the lives she touched and the love she gave.
