I will always remember Mrs. Wendy for being my son's school bus driver. Jamel and I loved her. I was texting you and didn't know you passed away till just now. My heart aches, but I know you are healed now. Mrs. Wendy thank you for always being there for Jamel and always looking after him. Your kind words, smiles, and treats always made Jamel feel warm. You will forever be in our hearts

Wendy, I will miss you dearly my friend, but you are where the lord wanted you to be. He was finished with you here. I remember meeting you over 25 years ago at the ymca and be became friends. Our kids played together and we have great memories of those times. This world is just temporary and we are all just passing through. I will see you again one day my friend. I love you!

Wendy and I have known each other since kindergarten. Back then, I remember this tall, beautiful girl with golden hair, pigtails and ribbons - she was striking. Years passed and we reconnected during high school, graduating in 1983. Later in years, we reconnected again via FB and we would laugh at how many years we have known each other. I never did find that kindergarten class picture that she wanted. Wendy, you are going to be missed. Your beautiful smile and humility have touched many. My sincerest condolences to Darrel and family. Rest in peace dear Wendy, you are in good hands.

Something that I will always remember about Wendy is her beautiful smile and her love for GOD. I am grateful to have met here while working at Eli Lilly and thankful for for laughter in our visits at her home in the midst of all the challenges of her life. Darrell, I will continue to pray for you and your family.

Charles and family.
I am so very sorry to hear of Wendy's passing. What I read from the Lewis posts she was a lovely lady who fought so hard to overcome her illness.
I was so happy to hear she had a strong belief and love for our dear Lord.
I pray for comfort to you and your family during this time and the many months ahead.
May God Bless all of you.
