Wendy Bess Jackson, 34, of Castleton, VT, was a warm soul whose greatest gift was her boundless love - for animals, for nature, and for the people whose lives she touched. Known for having the biggest heart and smile, Wendy had an unwavering belief in the goodness of others. She instinctively saw the best in people and carried hope, kindness, and compassion wherever she went.

Wendy had a deep love for fitness and all living things, especially animals, and she found joy in the simple beauty of the natural world. Sunflowers held a special place in her heart, reflecting her own spirit-warm, vibrant, and brightening the days of those around her. Her kindness was not loud or showy, but constant and sincere, leaving a lasting impact that cannot be measured in words.

She is lovingly survived by her mother, Donna; her brother Isiaih and sister-in-law Olivia, and their children, Bo and Teddy; and her brother Bronson. She is also survived by her grandmother, Joan.

Wendy leaves behind many beloved extended family members who will forever cherish her memory, including her Aunt Tammy and Uncle Mike Doran and their children Michael Jr., Shane, Amanda, and Owen; her Aunt Lisa Brill and partner Daryle Daigle, and children Dan Jr., Charlene, Hank, and Kellie; her Aunt Joan and Uncle Vince Cuocci, and their children Angela, Jack, and Mikaela; and her Aunt Janet Salotti Page. She is also survived by many great cousins who held a special place in her life.

Also mourning her loss is her former longtime partner, Brice Amsden, who shared many meaningful years with Wendy.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Donald Jackson; her uncle, Daniel Brill Sr.; her uncle, Keith Page; and her dear best friend, Derek Doran-each of whom she held close in her heart and is now reunited with.

Wendy's legacy is one of compassion, empathy, and unconditional love. She will be remembered for her gentle nature, her unwavering belief in goodness, and the warmth she brought to all who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, the love she gave so freely will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.

A memorial service will be held 1:30pm Thursday January 29, 2026 at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Church in Fair Haven. Friends may call from 11AM until 1pm on Thursday at the Durfee Funeral Home, 119 North Main St, Fair Haven , VT
