Wesley Allison Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Groce Funeral Home & Cremation Services - West Asheville on Feb. 18, 2026.
Wesley Aaron Allison, of Weaverville, passed away peacefully at his home on February 5, 2026. Born on July 24, 1977, Aaron lived a life marked by creativity, kindness, and a deep love for his family, music, animals, and rock and roll.

Aaron was a dedicated electrician for many years and took great pride in his work. He was always willing to lend a hand to those he loved, including helping his brother and sister-in-law rewire their new home. Outside of his trade, Aaron was a passionate musician who played in a band for many years. A true rock and roll enthusiast, he found his greatest joy with a guitar in his hands.

He was a father to three beautiful children. He was preceded in death by his son, Caleb Allison. He is survived by his daughter, Willow Allison, and his son, Justice Allison. Aaron is also survived by his loving mother, Tammy Golden; his sister, Nikki Clay; his brother, Clinton Shook; and his nieces, Chloe Clay and Kaylee Shook.

Aaron had a special place in his heart for animals, and his gentle, generous spirit will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of Aaron's life will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Groce Funeral Home Service on Patton Avenue at 2:00 p.m.

Those wishing to send flowers may send them to the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Asheville Humane Society, a cause that was very meaningful to him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his generous heart, his creative spirit, and his lifelong love of family, music, and rock and roll.
