Wesley Allan Foote, 60, passed away on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025, in The Woodlands, Texas, with his family by his side. He fought a long, hard, and courageous battle against glioblastoma brain cancer-a battle he faced with the same strength and determination that defined every chapter of his life. He never gave up. He fought hard. He fought strong.

Wesley was born on December 18, 1964, to Robert Allan Foote and Barbara Jean Quinn Foote-Micaletti. He grew up in Bay City, Texas, and graduated from Bay City High School. In high school, he played catcher on the baseball team and played percussion in the marching band.

After graduating high school in 1983, Wesley went straight into the U.S. Air Force, completing boot camp in San Antonio, Texas at Lackland Air Force Base. He was later stationed at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi, and then at Misawa Air Force Base in Misawa, Japan, where he served for three years as a Morse Code Intercept Operator. He eventually returned to Lackland as a Military Training Instructor in 1988. It was during this time in San Antonio that Wesley met his wife, Diane.

In 1994, Wesley graduated from the San Antonio Police Department Training Academy and earned his pilot's license in 1997. He flew with the Blue Eagle helicopter unit for the SAPD from 1998 to 2004. He continued his flying career as a helicopter pilot for offshore oil companies, Rotorcraft & Chevron until January 2021, shortly after receiving his glioblastoma diagnosis. Wesley continued his commitment to the military by serving in the National Guard in 2022.

Wesley was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was fiercely strong-not just physically, but mentally. He was unshakeable in the face of adversity and unwavering in his love for his family. He was a man who thrived on challenge and discipline. In addition to his service and aviation career, he completed several half marathons and even a sprint triathlon-further proof of his determined mental and physical strength.

His legacy is one of bravery, endurance, and love.

Wesley is preceded in death by his father, Robert Allan Foote.

He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Foote; his mother, Barbara Foote-Micaletti (husband Joe Micaletti); his brother, Kelly Foote (wife, Denise Foote); daughter Nichole Harmon (husband, David Harmon); son, Dylan Livingston (wife Kara Livingston); daughter, Ashley Featherston (husband, Ryan Featherston); daughter, Kristin Chawdhary (husband, Omar Chawdhary); daughter, Alyssa Charbonneau (husband, Luke Charbonneau); and daughter, Alexandra Camstra (husband, Marco Camstra); his nephew Garrett Foote and niece Paige Foote.

Wesley is also survived by his 14 grandchildren: Keegan Vargas (16), Cael Smith (13), Connor Smith (10), Lane Livingston (10), Colin Smith (8), Presley Featherston (9), Hudson Featherston (6), Hagan Harmon (6), Elliot Charbonneau (3), Brody Featherston (3), Quinn Livingston (2), Zain Chawdhary (2), Emerson Camstra (infant), and Isla Charbonneau (infant).

A military funeral service with honors will be held on Friday, June 20th, 2025 at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX, 77038 promptly at 10:15 am.
