Welsey Page McIntyre, 86, of Parkersburg, West Virginia passed away Saturday, March 15, 2026, at Elison Assisted Living of Marietta, Ohio.
He was born in Clarksburg, son of the late James and Virginia Davis McIntyre.
After graduating high school, Wesley served in the United States Air Force and was a member of the American Legion and National Rifle Association. He had a long and successful career with K-Mart Department Store in the sporting goods department.
Wesley enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and woodworking. He was a member of the Sunrise Church of Christ where he served as a song leader.
His love of the Lord was evident in the devotion and love he had for his late wife, Helen Kay Strickland McIntyre. In addition to his parents and wife, Wesley was preceded in death by three brothers, James McIntyre, Philip McIntyre, and David McIntyre.
Wesley is survived by his daughter, Wendy Moize (Tim); son, Patrick Sean McIntyre (Kelissa); stepdaughter, Kim Rollins (John); and stepson, Larry Dale Davis.
His family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Elison Assisted Living, Amedisys Hospice, and the Sunrise Church of Christ family for the care and compassion given to Wesley.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 23, 2026, at Sunrise Church of Christ, 598 Old Turnpike Road, Parkersburg, with Minister Elvis Galbreath officiating and Military Honors by American Legion Post 15. Services will conclude with interment at Evergreen North Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be observed one hour prior to services at the church building.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Sunrise Church of Christ at 598 Old Turnpike Rd, Parkersburg, WV 26104.
