Wesley E. Stevey age 72 formerly of Leavittsburg passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Wednesday March 25, 2026 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown. He was born on March 1, 1954 in Dunbar, PA the son of the late Charles W. Stevey and Betty Jane (Lowery) Stevey. Wesley lived in Leavittsburg and Warren area for most of his life, and graduated from Leavittsburg High School in the Class of 1974. After high school, he joined the US Navy and served during the Vietnam War from 1974- 1978. He loved fishing with his brother, and painting. Wesley is preceded in death by his parents and his long time girlfriend, Penny Adams.
He is survived by three brothers: Thomas A. Stevey and his parter (Jennifer Mixon) of Southington, OH, William A. (Mary) Stevey of Warren, and Aaron T. Stevey of Warren.
Cremation has taken place. He will be laid to rest after a graveside service beside his parents at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna on Friday April 3, 2026 at 10:00am. Pastor Chuck Campbell will be officiating.
