Wesley Wasson Obituary

Born January 10, 1962, in Kansas City, Kansas, Wesley grew up in Bonner Springs, graduating from Bonner Springs High School in 1980. Throughout his career he enjoyed being a Mechanic, including a period as a mechanic at Jay Wolf Acura and culminating in a dedicated 25-year career as a maintenance mechanic with the United States Postal Service.
Beyond his professional life, Wesley will be remembered most for his loving and generous spirit. He was a devoted father, a cherished Papa, and a true friend to many. Those who knew him will fondly recall his unwavering kindness, and his genuine love for life. His passion for life extended to his hobbies-he had a particular fondness for his overalls, motorcycles, the outdoors and guns, always emphasizing the importance of gun safety.
Wesley was preceded in death by his parents, John and Alberta Wasson, and his sister, Lori Hergesheimer in 2018. He is survived by his daughter, Kayla Collins, and her husband, Brandon, of Larned, Kansas; his brother, Mike Wasson; and his two beloved grandchildren, Addilynn and Matheous. These cherished family members will carry on his legacy of love and kindness.

I, would like to give my condolences, to the Wasson Family, I´m really going to miss seeing Wesley, he was a kind man, and extremely pleasant, my thoughts and prayers, go to his family, Rest In Peace. Dwayne A. Allen, and Family.
