Ruth was born October 17, 1944 in Kansas City, KS. She was one of four siblings, born to

Melvin and Ruth Garlow. Her early adult years as a nursing student equipped her for becoming

a wife to Harold Anderson, and mother to her 7 children. She loved being a mother and was

involved at school and church, wherever she could interact with kids. She enjoyed crafts,

sewing, art, baking, hosting guests for dinners and picnics, and celebrating every holiday and

birthday. Family vacations and family reunions were very important to enrich her children's life

experience. She loved the Lord throughout her life and wanted to share this joy with neighbors,

family, and church friends alike. In the late summer of life, Ruth found love and laughter again

in David Hendrickson, who was her constant companion. She became a caretaker for her

widowed mother in the last decade of her life and served faithfully in that role.

She was preceded in death by David Hendrickson, husband of 26 years, and Andre Anderson,

her beloved son.

She is survived by siblings: Lois & Jim Hersh, Mel & Shirley Garlow, Dorothy & Larry Lehman
